Cryogenic Butterfly Valve

We provide secure sealing mechanism for long term and low torque operation by the combination of the double eccentric disc and sealing mechanism applied sealing techniques of the swivel joint for LNG Service and double ball valve on ERS unit.

Characteristics of Main Component
The disk seal has a self seal structure with a stainless steel spring built in a fluororesin type envelope.

1. Disc Seal

Self-seal construction using stainless steel back-up spring in FEP packing having following features are applied;
1.Stable and reliable sealing capability accommodating heat-induced shrinkage of valve disc.
2.Secure sealing function supported by spring pressure.
3.High sealing performance and low operation torque by sealing mechanism with a built-in spring.
4.Fire safe type is available (option).
(1) Uni-Flow Type
    [Mono-seal]
(2) Bi-Flow Type [Bi-seal]

2. Shaft Seal

"PTFE" Self-Seal With a Built-In Spring
1. Easy Maintenance
Retightening to keep sealing performance is not necessary.
2. Compact
Can attach the actuator directly to Valve body.

3. Disc

Adopt Double Eccentric Disc Mechanism

Body touches a disc seal only between the eve of closure and entire closure.
Low friction of seal by the combination of double eccentric disc mechanism and a built-in spring sealing mechanism.

Pass Cryogenic Endurance Test
After 5,000 times Open-Close reputation, ZERO leakage at normal flow was proofed.
